Breaking: Debbie Wasserman-Schulz' IT staffer arrested while trying to flee US

Smart and clever family. Not so sure about their ethics.

Meanwhile the NYT continues to push a Russia agenda with anonymous sources, yet fails to mention that hard drives were discovered at Awan's house. Not to mention, the only reason they reported was because Trump tweeted the story 4 days after the arrest. No wonder its Fake News!

My husband is a software engineer. If someone were to search our house, they would find 10 old computers that his employer gave away when they upgraded and-- wait for it--- a bunch of hard drives. In fact, I'm pretty sure that there are hard drives in the vast majority of DCum household.

But, fortunately, we have taken another Pakastaini committing mortgage fraud off the street.

I heard Luke Rosiak being interviewed yesterday and one of the theories he was suggesting why DWS kept Awan on the payroll was because of a kickback he was giving to not only her, but other Democratic members of Congress. If this is true, that would be a huge bombshell!

Good point! That sounds exactly like the Awan situation!

But your husband didn't work for the disgraced former DNC chair, did he? Try as you may to discount this, but this is a smoking gun to many unanswered questions from a failed candidate and family that was always one step ahead of the facts.

Also wondering if all those hard drives you have are smashed?

Was your husband's 20-year-old brother excited when your husband got him a job on the Congressional payroll at $160k a year?

I bet he gave your husband an extra generous birthday present that year!

Deflect. Deflect. Deflect.

Oh look, squirrel!

Oh look, I fired my COS!

Oh look, I lashed out at the NYT!

JFC. Does this ever end?

Wow. I expect better from the National Review than a (very hard to follow) story with no evidence of wwrondoig except mortgage fraud, but a lot of innuendo. And that ends with Did conspiracy X happen? Did conspiracy Y happen? Did conspiracy Z happen? Their writing is usually much better.

This story is a Nothingburger, that looks a lot like "It's okay that Team Trump committed treason, because a Dem may have too".

I'm not weighing in on either side of this, but I always smash my hard-drives when I decommission a computer. Don't want the least risk that anything of a personal nature (e-mails, financial information etc) could be recovered if I sold or gave away the hardware.

The person who wrote the story is a journalist. Not a criminal prosecutor.

Maybe that's where you're getting confused.

DP - The FBI has the ability to get data from smashed hard drives. Bleachbit hard drives, not so much.

FUN FACT: The FBI never plays their cards on an indictment until they have a full proof case. Give it time Dems, this will snowball into something bigger and better that will set back your party (AGAIN) for a generation.

My point is that if you possess surplus hard drives and such from your employer, you are not going to take those home and smash them.
The hard drive I own is in use.
