I had a boss named Ricky. That poor man had to use his proper-nickname on all his work documents. That was awful. Jack, can be Jack, who cares.

Hey Dumb Fuck, Jack is a common nickname for John (just like John (Jack) Kennedy).

Our son's name is John--named after several relatives on both sides. Jack is his nickname given the fact there are so many John's.
