Sidwell sued over staff psychologist's affair

Any Admin Officer admitting a student under that circumstance is willfully choosing to "split" a 5 yo from her custodial father and dooming future teachers to a failed Parent-teacher relationship. Hard to find worse Admiss Officer judgment

Agreed, but wasn't the AD at Sidwell a "he", not a her. He left for a year and now is back. forget his name...

With 2 prior kids matriculating there, and his receipt of tge "parent volunteer" award formerly, and as an alum & donor, you'd think he'd receive some deference. My guess is her former DC worksite has partner-mentors also school connected for a custodial spouse's opinion to be discarded by Admissions. I would also guess his reservations were not passed on to the entire team

Wut.

translation:

the mom got her daughter in using law partner friends of hers who are big wigs at the school.IMHO, The AD looked the other way and did not share the Dad's opposition because he/she saw only the aforementioned as people he needed to "work with" and did not foresee the Dad as strong enough of a negative to his/her immediate interests as the AD. ( so, didn't tell his/her team)

In my opinion, the student is unfortunately "highly gifted" with a mother who acted like a strumpet and a father who acted like an entitled, bitter wacko.
