Can anyone answer this? Because Timothy admitted to doing just that.

The answer is it’s not ok.

It’s funny - all the Busfield defenders are now oddly quiet. Have they suddenly realized tickling kids on set is gross, weird and inappropriate?

Sorry - who, exactly, has defended this guy? You keep saying that and you sound idiotic. Several of us have simply said we’re waiting for all the facts to be confirmed before making a judgement call. Too bad there are still vultures like you who insist all men all guilty from the get go.

It’s sounding very likely that he did indeed do something, especially with his prior history, but as another poster said, this doesn’t fit with his previous SA accusations. And there are other issues at play, namely what the mother allegedly said about getting revenge. So the normal people here will wait on confirmation of all the charges.

The people who said the timeline is fishy and the parents wanted revenge are idiotic. I believe children.

Did you talk to the children?

You just have to read the affidavit to get it. He admitted to tickling the kids on set to get them ready for acting. He bought them gifts off set. Not normal behavior and definitely grooming.

I don't think you understand the meaning of the word "definitely."

Seriously - the air of certainty some of you project without having any firsthand knowledge is pretty astounding. You heard “grooming” one time on a Dateline episode and now you’re an SME.

Since then, every unfamiliar male you encounter that you don’t find attractive is “definitely” more dangerous than a bear in the woods. Definitely. Absolutely.

Wait until you find out he gave gifts off set to the entire cast and crew. And wait until you found out that tickling isn’t a Class 3 felony … anywhere.

Having said all that, if he engaged in any conduct that violated the law, string him up for all I care. I just wouldn’t want to ever find the PP on a jury of any kind. Ready to find guilty on the charges before the opening statements are even made! Good grief.

+1. The comments here assuming guilt are disturbing.

No what’s disturbing are the allegations against Busfield and the affidavit.

Yes, the affidavit is disturbing. There was either SA or the parents coached their kids as retribution for being fired. We don't know which one, but it is disturbing either way.

That's how I see it. Whichever turns out to be true, these kids have been damaged. In some ways, it's more disturbing if the parents coached their kids into having "memories". If a parent would do that, what other kinds of awful parenting are they doing? Either of these sick things would upset a kid to the point of regressing to bedwetting and withdrawing. And to get to a jury decision, the kids will have to endure even more trauma that comes with being questioned in front of strangers in a huge room.

I am hoping there are some disinterested production employees who saw something and can give unbiased testimony. If it's damaging to TB, at this point with him essentially cancelled, they don't have to worry about it hurting their future employment opportunities.

Wow, you are deranged. Nothing about that post should be construed by a high-functioning individual as “disgusting”.

Your bloodthirsty, zealous obsession with treating allegations as facts are what’s actually disturbing here.

Just wondering if it is common for child predators to pursue children of both genders? His previous allegations were with a 17 yo girl, and these are 10 yo boys.

16 yo girl. And yes it is common. Look at Diddy.

Why does that matter in the least? Because it makes the allegations less credible in your eyes?

That’s just the point - I’m not taking any of this seriously until due process sorts it all out, precisely how our system of justice is designed to work.

Why is that objectionable? Why is it necessary that I believe anyone at this point, whether accuser or accused?

Anyone rushing to condemn here (whether it’s those champing at the bit to lynch this guy, or those who are certain his accusers are making false claims) is an idiot, dishonest, or both.

Same with those who blindly support capital punishment. You’re not winning a medal for having a trigger finger with your gavel, armchair judges and juries. There’s a process. Let it play out before you fire up your pitchforks and tiki torches (and broomsticks).

I don’t follow these kinds of cases closely because this isn’t my area of focus, but it doesn’t really matter - it SHOULD happen in EVERY case. Due process is an essential element of our system of justice, not an optional, discretionary “add-on” if the court of public opinion decides they are feeling magnanimous that particular day.

Are you new to the system of justice here in the U.S.? It seems like there are ardent participants here who would prefer to exact their version of justice first, and then ask questions later.

Frightening times, indeed.

Who is seeking to execute this man? Have a Xanax or call Better Help, it’ll help steady your nerves.

He’s appropriately in custody now and will be tried for these charges. Anyone here is allowed to opine on his likely guilt with zero impact on the legal outcome.
