They are elected officials meant to represent us and what we would like to see. If you think the Democratic party is far left, you need to read up. To ensure that you're able to do so, vote for Virginia's Democratic ticket this time around.

If you want to vote for conservatives who don't support Trump, get involved in politics now, and start loading the pipeline ASAP. You can't look up a month before an election and decide that none of the candidates mesh closely enough to your preferences, so you won't vote (well, you can do that part) and declare that this is someone else's fault (nope!). You let it happen. You're letting it happen to everyone.
