The only “evidence” you have are the words of a man who has been a lifelong habitual liar and conman…so you don’t actually have any evidence. |
| King Charles will abdicate and name me as the new queen of England before Trump is admitted into the Pearly Gates of Heaven. He knows that he has a one-way, non-stop elevator ride straight down to the bowels Hell for eternity. There is no chance of redemption for him. |
People obsessed with getting into heaven don't commit monstrous behavior on a daily basis |
And yet he does. Which is why he tries to pretend that he’s doing good things. “Peace” awards. Etc. |
For Trump, it's all a big scam. |
Of course Trump talks about going to heaven -- he knows who his "market" is and he's playing to it. |
It’s actually not your position to judge. If you’re Christian, it should be against your values. People who believe he’s going to heaven, you can’t judge either. What you can judge is all the wrong he’s done in the world. His path to heaven or hell or nowhere is not up to us. |
This!! It’s similar to VD Vance turning into a fake catholic to get the catholic vote. Any one who buys into that is a fool. He doesn’t ACT catholic, as in with catholic values - which, to me, is a true catholic |
Believing in God and heaven when you’re nearly 80 is like buying home insurance before a massive storm. No one knows if there will be caveats and exclusions in the policy. |
| Well, I do recall the rich man in the NT who asked Jesus how to get to heaven and was told to sell all he had and give the proceeds to the poor. The man was dismayed and walked away. Jesus also presented the camel through the needle's eye analogy for rich men going to heaven. |
He's never thought deeply enough about the subject to actually develop an opinion one way or another. It's pretty much a foreign concept, like "groceries." |
+1 The guy was almost shot and is in very poor health. He knows he’s going to die soon which explains why he’s obsessed with getting into heaven. He thinks he can negotiate his way in by bringing “world peace” or other “good acts”. |
Trump knows very well that there is no heaven. He's an atheist. A natural born atheist. A bad atheist. An atheist who is "playing to his base" of Evangelical Christians. |
I find this so hard to swallow from today's Evangelical Christians. There are exceptions out there from every faith, people doing good works and trying hard everyday to follow Jesus' teachings. But the majority of Evangelicals I encounter spend all their time hating and condemning and the fruits of their life are misery for other people outside their little chosen circle. I do not believe merely *saying* you have wholeheartedly accepted Jesus as your savior and then living a life of hateful and unkind behavior counts. If you really accepted Jesus in your heart, you have to live his words or at least be doing your best to do so each day. Jesus' commands are HARD. They do NOT align with many of the ideals of America and certainly not with the principles of MAGA. Most Evangelicals fail completely on this count. So their sanctimonious words ring completely hollow to me. They do Satan's work while having the audacity to have Jesus' words in their mouths. They use Jesus' words as a weapon, not a balm. That said, there is not one single person I could say I want to go to Hell. If hell exists, I cannot imagine wanting to condemn a person to that. Eternal pain is not something I could bring myself to wish on anyone, even the most evil person. It is beyond imagining. I hope there is a purgatory. |
I do not wish Trump or anyone to go to hell. But, unfortunately, I do not suspect he has it within him to truly repent for all the evil he has done. I don't think he believes he has done anything wrong or if he does think so, he is not sorry. He is still trying to cut deals. He is not sorry for a damn thing. |
