No one is above the law. He should have shown his senate pin and identified himself prior to engagement with officers, not shoved the agents and followed legal orders. No arrest occurred.

No one is above the law?

Explain. Exactly what law did he violate?

Shoving a federal agent.

Watch the video.

I watched the video. He identified himself and asked a question, and instantly started getting shoved and manhandled by security for no plausible reason. Maybe you only saw the edited-down FOX News version.

He did not identify himself until he already started moving aggressively toward the podium. At that point the SS had not choice but to remove him.

I think YOU saw the edited version that his aide took. Which makes me wonder why the aide didn’t intervene and tell SS who the crazy man was. Maybe they wanted a viral moment to show that Padilla is “pushing back against this administration.”

Listen, we know those are lies and you know these are lies, and we know that you know they are lies.

Sane people, we have to remember that these are folks and bots that support Trump, even now. There is nothing redeemable about their character so there is no use in arguing with them, unless you are in it for entertainment. You wouldn’t stop to argue with every nut on the street, would you?

No, you’d roll up your window and lock your door.

Spanish speaking guy you’ve never seen before, dressed in street clothes, charges toward the DHS Sec. while yelling.

He’s not wearing his security hard-pin, didn’t previously identify himself.

It’s your job to handcuff him.

If she doesn’t know who Senator Padilla is then we have a fu(king problem, Houston. He is the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, and Border Safety. She should absolutely know who he is then she is NOT doing her job.

This.
Norm should have acknowledged his presence and requested he give her a chance to finish her remarks and tell him she would be happy to respond to his concerns

Noem did none of this and is a poor cabinet secretary.

They are acquainted and have been in committees together. This is just Nazi theater to see how far they can push it. If they can do it on TV to a senator then they know they can get away with doing it to you.

They were 'protecting' her???? From what? Inconvenient, uncomfortable questions? No, sorry but that absolutely does not qualify for roughing someone up, shoving them to the ground and handcuffing them. Absolutely not. GTFO with that crap.

Bullshit. He did identify himself and he didn't "lunge forward" - all he did is stand his ground when security swarmed him and started shoving him.

Lies, lies, lies. That's all we get from this bunch of fascist goons.

She looks like an idiom whenever she has to answer questions, so clearly they were protecting her from looking like an idiot.

What was this called in Brave New World? New Speak or something?

Wake up people. We are losing our democracy. I can only hope the propagandists are Russians and not real Americans.

People post things and say things like this, but what do you propose we do that we aren’t already doing?

We all saw the video and he absolutely was pushing and lunging forward. The agents didn’t recognize him and were acting quickly to protect Noem while she was speaking. He had the obligation to wear the senate pin. It’s not the agents’ job to recognize him by face or to tolerate physical aggression.

The videos aren’t just on fox and X. And they all show his pushing.

Protecting a Cabinet Secretary. La Di Da. Whoopie Frickin Doo. So she's a cabinet secretary. So what? He's a US senator, which is no less important than a cabinet secretary. And in fact she's had to sit in hearings giving him testimony. So this BS about not knowing who he was is COMPLETE crap.

Maybe the MAGA weirdos would be happier if he had brought his security goons to fight her security goons instead? WWE? Linda McMahon?

What a bunch of dopes you all are.

Lies. They rushed HIM. And Noem FOR SURE knew who the hell he was because she had to appear before him in Senate committee hearings.

You people need to stop lying.

The videos “showing” the Senator “pushing” are because MAGA crazies forward the edited Fox & X videos……

He cleared security going into the federal building and then was escorted to his meeting by a member of the National Guard and and FBI agent. And they still threw him to the ground and handcuffed him.

This is clipped from Noem’s comments:

“ He didn't say who he is until he was already had been lunging forward, and people were trying to detain him for quite a period of time...”

You’ve been caught lying. Again. Typical.
