SJC boosters really talking about scrimmage results?

No way they were winning. Spalding has always been scrimmage champs.

St. Johns should be legit. As an IAC dad I hate to say it but they have a very good defense, attack and midfield.

SJC lacrosse parents are the top of the pyramid when it comes to local youth sports loser parents. No close second to these wombats.

I'd like to hear more about scrimmage results no matter the school.

Not surprising. Those SJC teams were once in a generation talented. Does sound like SJC has a very small 2028 class. Heard only 8 freshman lax players and no top tier club talent like they hauled in previously.

Any high school coach who doesn’t acknowledge the non lacrosse TNTs (takes no talent) necessary to maintain a strong program is going to be running a losing program and Speaks is a master of these TNTs. He is there in his bright red SJC jacket scouting summer and fall tournaments, he follows up with the families of promising kids who attend his lacrosse camp in the summer, he himself takes prospective families on their tours of SJC. It’s not just coaching skill anymore so say what you will about Speaks but he understands the assignment.

Well, you sound like a rival coach who is trying to make your job how it was in the 90s.

Prep over BL yesterday 9 - 5. Prep defense looked sharp.

PVI down 1 to Bullis at half. PVI looked a little tired in 3rd qtr and lost it 5 - 1. 4th quarter saw back-ups for both teams.
