St Stephens will likely come in last this spring in the IAC.

Saint Mary's will contend for maybe the final playoff spot in the MIAA - Will Dalton was a good hire, he has his hands full but he will change the culture there.

And don’t say they don’t want to travel - some of these teams are hopping on flights to play subpar competition.

why would the IAC be afraid to play the WCAC?

They all play Gonzaga who won the ship last year.

Makes you wonder. I was told Speaks doesn’t want to play the IAC teams

After this season, Speaks will go back to recruiting full teams of Hawks again.

SJC is not the same program as they were 3 - 4 seasons ago.

Speaks made a big mistake by pissing off all area coaches when attempting to poach opposing players from rival programs. Area coaches acknowledge he is a great coach but I don't sense they have a great deal of respect towards him.

When you look at the HOF coaches from the area, Rob Bordley, Kevin Giblin, Casey O'Neill, these guys at mutual respect for one another, and found ways to play one another year after year.

History doesn’t lie. It tells you why the IAC won’t play. Smoked

DeMatha is looking like a sleeper for the WCAC championship this year. Word is they got a middie transfer named Christos Huagh who paired along with Matthew Beachley could make some serious noise. Exited to see what they could also do with the defense that they returned from last season who held top 25 teams to single digits.

Hearing St. John’s was up 8-4 at half on Spalding when starters were in. Anyone go watch? Isn’t Spalding ranked nationally?

SJC boosters really talking about scrimmage results?

No way they were winning. Spalding has always been scrimmage champs.
