I’ve never been so disappointed in my dsughter

She's 25, she can do what she wants. It could have been a lot worse than getting a tattoo.

Get over it. I got one at 18. I removed it at 36 because the edges were fading. Only could be seen in a bathing suit. (Upper outer thigh).

Op your daughter is normal. You, in the other hand, need therapy

I'm trying to determine the plumpest part of my body and that's where I imagine a hippo tattoo should go. Trying to decide between my butt and batwings. It's more meaningful that way.

If you put it on your batwings you can make your hippo march

Is she a nice person? Healthy all around? Good career? So many more important questions than a stupid tattoo.

Trauma dumping. Religious and political debates. Brainrot. Well-intentioned good advice. Hate speech. Trolls. This thread has it all.

Honestly I'm in awe. I've never seen anything like it.

if it is any consolation, at some point the tattoo will look terrible due to fading or skin aging. then your daughter may regret it, or even think "mom was right!"

Dd told me she’ll get one when she’s 18. Then I told her she can move out of the house. No tattoos allowed in our home.

No one's posted to this thread for almost two months by now but I still think about it sometimes

My mother completely flipped out, accused me of doing it to rebel and said it hurt her more than my sister's alcoholism. Personally, I think if the worst thing your kid does is get a tattoo, you're pretty lucky.

I’d get 2 full sleeves (including my hands) and a chest piece if my mom dared to say something so asinine.
