Asian American here. The blatant racism on this site is bothersome. DH and I are children of immigrants and our kids totally American. We are still minorities in this country. Pp seems ignorant in that Asians represent 60% of the world population. The filthy rich Asian billionaires types still live in Asia.

I’m south Asian and I think the pro-Asian rah rah from you is weird and forced. Give it up.

And yeah my kids need it to be a little different to stand out and not pursue stem or premed or engineering. Luckily it’s authentic and their true interest but they don’t live true to the stereotype. Still very hard-working, eager and engaged kids. But you don’t need to live the stereotypical dream to prove everyone wrong.

Do things your own way. Reinvent the wheel. Anything is possible. Try not to limit yourself by the Asian myth.

As an observer with no dog in the fight, read the entire thread. It started with Asians putting down whites and bragging to everyone that since the SC ruling nobody else would get in but them.
