Lol. A number of people have actually left that team because of mean girl dynamics, former bro dad coach, and mommy/daddy ball with coaches favorites. If you watch one of their games, the playing time disparities among team is shocking. Hope for those remaining it will improve with the new coach.

What information do you have to refute that? Sounds like the poster was making a generalization and likely was not specific to the team your daughter plays on.

My point is that a generalization with no expressed factual basis is not very useful; not trying to defend any specific team. Impossible comment to assess or evaluate. If there is some set of metrics the PP is using, rankings of local teams overall, eye test of specific teams in a specific context, relative weakness of DC-area MD-based teams at the 28 level (Next Level, BLC, MC Elite, etc) we could better evaluate the point. Was curious as to why the PP has confidence in the 29s as well.

They must be a really terrible group of they’re #11 in the country. Back to Visi - schools go through highs and lows. The landscape always changes. They’re hitting a slump, but they will be back.

Hire another dad coach for another 2 seasons.

Bring in another coach for 2 - 3 years.

Visi is the only program in the area who appears to have a coach every 3 seasons.

Either the parents are insane / run the school or the AD is powerless /, most likely a combination of the two.

Sincere question. As a parent of a daughter considering Visi for high school (applying now), what, if anything, has the school communicated to lacrosse players/families about the coaching situation? Timeline? Path forward?

Visi is a great school; have heard awesome things from alums and current families about college prep, experience, etc. Competing at the top level of local HS in lacrosse is also a factor for us, though, so tracking this situation closely.
