Thanks for the validation from a mom of 3. |
| I also drive a Subaru and I'm in shape and wear makeup and am married to a man who loves how practical my car choices are. Not a Crosstrek though (Impreza -- I love how easy it is to park but you can still fit a lot of stuff in it). |
| I cringe when I encounter people driving large vehicles for absolutely no reason. Like some guy who has a desk job and does not haul anything ever who drives a big truck. Or a mom with one toddler driving a big SUV to and from preschool every day. It just looks silly to me. It also sucks -- these big vehicles make driving worse for everyone and are generally a lot more dangerous to other people than smaller cars. It feels like ego and selfishness. I don't judge some family of 5 with a minivan because that makes sense but I don't understand why some people have decided that EVERYONE needs some huge vehicle. Remember when most people drove mid-size sedans. |
| I have not seen the brand of my car get shat on here, so I guess my image is still intact. However, I have Gucci backpack so I’m waiting for another thread that judges me because of quiet luxury and “wealth whispers.” |

It’s not your business. |
Hahahaha. Awwwww, someone got triggered.

| I saw 3 different cybertrucks today. Three. Around Rockville/Bethesda. People were taking pictures. Absolutely disgusting |
| I hate the Nissan cube and scion. I hate their shape. They look dumb |

Jeeeez, what’s wrong with Jeeps? They’re like some of the last honest vehicles still being made. They’re still true to their original design and super capable off-road compared to all other modern SUV’s. They’re priced to be attainable by almost anyone. They don’t scream “elitist snob”. The people who own them own them because they want to - not because they just needed “something for transportation”. They hold their value ridiculously well. They’re reliable enough and can still be maintained and repaired by their owners if they want to do their own maintenance. They’re relatable across all kinds of socioeconomic strata - everyone from JFK Jr. to poor southern rednecks have owned Jeeps. They’re just sort of a universal vehicle. I just don’t get the hate. Can you explain it? |

Hummer Old man driving any kind of expensive sports car |
What do you think, OP? I find Cadillacs a little tacky. |
Really? But it’s DCUM. I thought we all drove SUVs polished by our butlers? |
