Some info about the laptop. Most of the examinations have been done on copies of the laptop's hard drive since the FBI has the laptop itself. The duplicates have been copied several times and have unknown chains of custody. Here is what the Washington Post found when it had experts examine one copy of the data:

More than likely related to the laptop is a hack of Burisma Holding prior to the New York Post story: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/13/us/politics/russian-hackers-burisma-ukraine.html
It is possible that data stolen from Burisma was planted on the laptop copy that has been circulating through the media. |

A few questions:
1) How many laptops did Hunter own? 2) How many did he take to the repair shop? 3) How many does the FBI have possession of? 4) Has Hunter ever alleged that contents of these devices were altered? |
I don't know how many laptops Hunter owned, but there is only one that was allegedly left at the computer shop. The FBI has possession of one (as far as is publicly known). Yes, here part of an interview of Hunter by CBS's Tracy Smith:

I think the point is that there are very few people taking principled positions. If Hunter were the son of a R president, the majority of responders would be arguing to the benefit of “their”:team, opposed to all of “our” team as in “our” country. |
Who are you to say who is acting on principle and who is not? I just described a comparable situation in which the roles were reversed but many of had the same position that we do now. |
Projection. |
| There is a receipt from the repair shop signed by Hunter. It has been authenticated as his signature, authorizing an $85 repair for the laptop in question. |
| So what we have here is Trump and company planting information on a hard drive specifically to frame the Democrats! How heinous!! |
There is no doubt it’s his. All they have now is a ‘well it’s been compromised by the Russians!!’ Defense. |
NP. I don't get it. If it's his laptop, and all of the files are his, so? There's nothing bad on the laptop. The worst thing about the laptop seems to be the shady computer repair company. It seems to be purely a topic of diversion, a way to complain and point fingers but without any substance. |
You understand that laptop being his and the data in it being his are two separate things! |
So many emails and photos on that hard drive have been verified as authentic. Posting articles from March of this year to try and ‘explain’ what’s going on now is the ultimate denial of what happened and the subsequent investigations. I don’t think much will come of it because I think Republicans also have plenty to hide themselves, and I think that’s the reality of politics now. If we have seen absolutely no charges come from Epstein’s list, that’s a tell-all, isn’t it? |
If you believe the data on the hard drive is authentic, and we all know that the New York Post has had the data since at least Oct. 2020 and both the New York Time and Washington Post have had access to it, as well as unknown others, why has nothing showing illegal or corrupt activities been revealed (other than Hunter's photos showing drug use)? In case you are thinking about the "big guy" email, keep in mind that subsequent emails said that such an arrangement had been turned down and the deal being discussed was never concluded. So, at best, this demonstrates a failed attempt to bribe Joe Biden. Where are the documents or emails demonstrating actual corruption? |
