I don’t think Leann and Mozart are comparable, but I do think she was a child prodigy. She is an exceptionally talented singer whose blockbuster first album was recorded when she was just 11! Country may not be your thing, but the album remains remarkable. I thought the way the OP worded it (with “are”) that we were talking about living people, not people throughout history. |
I think her mental health struggles have impacted what she’s been able to accomplish. She’s put out some incredible music, but hasn’t done the touring, interviews, and publicity other performers do. Plenty of musicians are non-conforming and make people uncomfortable—this isn’t the issue. |
