Bono as a lyricist, but U2 collectively as a band.
They began at 16. Boy, War and Joshua Tree all released in while in their 20s. I think Bono is one of the best lyricists of the last few decades. And their music has transformed with each album. |

A band is not a prodigy hahahaha. This is a good example of someone highlighting great artists who were not prodigies simply because they love them and they are very successful and talented. Joshua Bell is in the mix here not because he's been as commercially successful at moving people as Bono but because he was improvising a string instrument at age 4 and soloing professionally by 14. People can be wonderfully talented but not meet the definition of a prodigy |

For the members of BTS
RM and Suga have been rapping since they were young teens, both are gifted songwriters, and I would call them prodigies JHope and Jimin have been dancing since they were young teens, I’m not sure that counts as being a prodigy but they’re very talented and hard working Jungkook has been the lead singer since age 15, his voice stability and range are impressive, maybe he’s a prodigy Jin and V are prodigies in handsomeness obviously, I think their voices and dancing skills came later though |

Taylor Swift doesn’t have exceptional talent. People who think she does have no comprehension about the meaning of exceptional talent. If you want to throw her on this list then throw Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and everyone who was on Star Search and The Mickey Mouse Club as kids who are now famous adults. |

I came on here to post Fiona Apple. Truly a prodigy. I think her career never blossomed because she made people uncomfortable and never wanted to conform to what was expected. |
