My understanding is that the FBI needs evidence of a crime before conducting the raid.

And that the raid is signed off on by a federal judge, the governor (of Florida in this case) and others. It’s not like one dude decides to raid someone. They have to make a case for it.

Please cite anything that indicates that the Governor of a state signs off on any federal search warrant that will be occurring in his or her state. That is preposterous.
