TBF, she likely hates anyone coming in because she feels they can’t live up to her high standards.

If she actually retires as planned, I’m sure she’ll be appointed “Board Chair Emeritus” or somesuch.

I have no inside information here but I see no reason why she would hate to accept a strong student that wanted to transfer if that sort of student filled a need in the class they joined. Spots get filled in the summer all the time at all the DMV schools - even the top ones.

If you 1) have no inside info and are b) clearly not a private school parents nor a Maret parent, I am not sure why you are chiming in other than to waste time. Maret rarely- if ever- accepts midyear transfers.

To suggest that the current HoS would accept a Whittle transfer at ANY point is silly especially since she hates Whittle and is not a fan of the incoming head. Do you have reading comprehension issues? Please just be quiet. I am trying to quell this idiotic idea that all of a sudden there is a Whittle-Maret pipeline. It's not going to happen.

We are a former family, will not be returning. There is no hope left for Whittle unfortunately. The school showed some promise in the inaugural year, but has been on a downward slip ever since. I made plans for transfer when the financial news broke out in December. People who are still behind at Whittle literally lack the ability to calculate risks.

Objective observer. Someone just said they transferred to Maret despite it being full etc. from Whittle. Most would never admit to it. So yes, I suspect there’s a there there.
