Well you assume wrong because I have been vaccinated since April and I will take my mask off as soon as I can. So if you walk past me you can be assured that I am vaccinated. You shouldn’t make assumptions about people now!

You can also catch a cold or the flu come in to contact with other people are you going to stop living your lives? How many people on here truly want to continue wearing masks forever just to avoid getting a cold? I would rather take the risk and not wear a mask we used to live where we could see peoples faces and smile and talk. If you have some pre-existing condition by all means wear a mask but the virtue signaling has just got to go!

Masks have long been a thing in Asia, mainly seasonally, and generally on grimy public transit or crowds with lots of strangers. This makes sense and is a LOT different than wearing a mask to a cocktail party with friends. I look forward to wearing lipstick and smiling at people. At some point you just have to let people live.

If you follow science you'd know even a crummy cloth mask is better than nothing. You will suffer a lot more with covid than wearing a mask. And, if wearing a mask is causing you distress, you really need to get mental health treatment. Plenty of well made cloth masks available.

You can smile at people while wearing a mask. And they will likely be able to tell that you are smiling at them, too! Just saying.

I am the "she" you are probably referring to and have been off dcum for a couple days doing my masked stuff out and about before all the people who can't be bothered with a face covering unmask. So there must be others like me posting here too, sorry to disappoint you.

Last time I checked, the cold or flu didn't kill millions around the world. They aren't even close to comparable. Lets be real. You are only talking to your friends so stop the fake caring as you aren't going to talk to a stranger or even your child's classmate's parent who has been going to your child's school for years that you've never acknowledged because you are suddenly not wearing a mask. And, if you do its only because you want something from them.
