So they don’t develop players, they just swap them out. No wonder so many DMV girls are going elsewhere lately.

Many of the top clubs do the same, so not really sure what your point is. This is fairly common

In fact, I would be absolutely shocked if the M&D and HG 29 teams make any changes throughout HS unless forced to do so. For example, HG 2027s made zero roster changes from last year to this year, they didn’t need to do so.

IIRC, dropped one and added one from last year. But it wasn’t “we are doing our annual turnover of 3 kids” described above.

Exactly. It’s not like this annual culling where 4 m&d red girls are promoted to black, or heros green decides to always replace the weakest 5 each year. Really weird if it is a cap blue thing to constantly replace players.

You do know that HG and M&D black go to invite only heading into sophomore year, right? Can’t be any clearer than “here’s your invite,” haha. I guess cap blue having tryouts makes sense when they need to replace so many non-performers apparently.

Routinely keeps their HS teams together?? Yeah, that’s the point. HG 29 already went to invite only, and they didn’t cut anyone, they just added an excellent player in a position of need. The team won’t change, watch. Same with m&d 29; they had a tryout, but they didn’t cut anyone. They lost two, one of which was an out-of-stater who didn’t want the travel anymore, and replaced those two. Again, it wasn’t some preordained thing where they just replaced girls they had developed over the years. One added a defender, cutting no one; the other replaced two players they def wanted to keep.
