Those guys are gone. They don't stand to gain anything by coming forward at this point because if you take the PA's receipts and combine them with a viewing of the video that is not biased by "get ready to watch a woman be racist" priming, it's pretty clear that they didn't behave great. Like even if you go with the idea that it was a misunderstanding, you have the one guy using a slur for a disabled person, you have the guy covering the QR code and pushing into her, you have them laughing and mocking her -- if you go into it with the assumption that she either rented the bike first or it was a genuine misunderstanding, it's very hard to defend their behavior. It looks like harassment.

Throw in that she's pregnant and just finished a long shift, and unless you are just absolutely convinced this must be a "Karen" incident, those guys do not look sympathetic.

I actually don't think they were the ones to post the video and I think they've probably known from the start that the video ultimately doesn't make them look great. I think they will lay low and hope no one figures out who they are (easier than it was for the PA since she was in work scrubs and wearing an ID).

Someone gave the video or posted it from that group. I don't think all the men in the group were involved, some were just there but not stopping it. It should be easy enough to track them down and the police should be doing that.

What crime did they commit, and what kind of punishment would they receive?

Harassment, assault (or what ever a lower level would be). I would hope they'd get community service at that hospital under her direction.

Battery - she said to stop touching her pregnant belly. Intimation, hate crime, kidnapping (they wouldn’t let her leave), theft. I’m sure there are some that are missing.
And I hope real SJW dox them all.

They are clearly in the wrong but these charges are a stretch to say the least. Kidnapping? They didn't stop her from leaving - they stopped her fro leaving with the bike. That's wrong, but its not kidnapping.

+1, were it not for the online harassment and defamation, I don't think very many people would try to prosecute these charges. I'd be upset about it but it wouldn't be worth the headache of filing a report and potentially testifying in court. And for what? I don't think a stint in juvie or in jail is going to make these guys behave better. The best way to address behavior like this is as a society to not tolerate it, to teach children not to do it and if you see it happening, to intervene and say "no, leave this woman alone."

I think the guys in the video screwed up but I see no advantage to trying to charge them with something. It wouldn't solve anything.

The woman was trying to go home. It should be addressed legally as she was attacked. If they didn't post the video looking for attention none of this would have been an issue which is why it almost seems like a set up.

You are so worked up over this little story that your comments are bordering on paranoia. What kind of person would be so involved in a spat between two people? People are murdered and raped on a daily basis but somehow you losers are devoting your energy to this case. Are you attempting to influence the outcome of this case?

The real issue here is the social media mob going after an innocent woman. It's no longer simply about a spat between two/four people, and it hasn't been since the PA was doxed and her reputation destroyed online--other posters keep explaining this to you. In any case, Monique is certainly worked up so maybe direct some of your fire at her.

That's pretty sadistic. Forcing the crime victim (victim of harassment and assault no less) to interact with her abusers and being responsible for enforcing their punishment? Obviously you have never been a victim of this type of crime.

It’s restorative justice. The perps are always the real victims in these scenarios. A white person can never really be a victim. /s

No, its saying its ok they are victims of crime as they have it coming to them however in this case, those men should work at that hospital and see what's going on and who they are attacking.

She’s trying really hard to convince herself he’s not a threat to her.

She’s wrong.

She also clearly doesn’t understand the legal system and the law. On her TikTok she explains how she “knows” the evidentiary system under the law, etc. She is wrong. She needs to go to law school. I’ve been a lawyer for 20+ years and it always gives me a headache when someone who isn’t a lawyer makes ridiculous claims about how the law works, what would be allowed in court, etc.

This is the case of the decade! You should join the legal team. With all of your experience, you could make a name for yourself. OJ 2.0 baby!

Post-Dominion these cases are actually potentially a huge deal. But you wouldn’t know precedent from a hole in your head so you don’t understand what I’m saying.

Tell me you went to a shitty law school without telling me you went to a shitty law school.

??

+1 to the ??. That was probably the anti-PA troll.

Why are people who claim to hate racism so mad when it turns out racism didn’t happen?

Nothing will happen to all the social media folks who make their living off shaming others.

Because they need it to be racism to push their own agenda and get attention to make money.

I am sorry you are upset that YET another hate crime turned out to be fake. Doesn’t fit your narrative, I see.

I don't really have a narrative. But I can see how someone who spends too much time getting angry over politics and/or Twitter would think that.

It's like the people who hate the police. They love to see the videos, but are absolutely pissed off when it turns out to be justified.

Who the hell is Monique? You are talking to multiple people, so I'm not the only one who thinks you are acting strangely. And I'm not sure where you have been, but these idiots posting hateful threats online isn't exactly a new phenomenon. I wish there was recorse, but going after these fools is probably a waste of time.

Monique Judge. She’s a Twitter moron who keeps claiming Sarah was in the wrong. She didn’t believe the receipts were real.

So you come on a thread very late in the game and insult people who refer to things you can't be bothered to go back and read. Okaay.....

Working at a hospital isn't relevant. They didn't do anything to patients or to hospital staff in the course of their job. This same incident would have happened if it was a woman coming back from her workout at the gym or from hanging out at her friends house, etc.

And what exactly would you want them to do at the hospital? They aren't trained/licensed to perform any medical duties. Even just admin/desk work would require extensive training.
Janitorial work? How would that show them "what's going on and who they are attacking?"
