Is this appropriate to wear in the workplace?

We got a very senior new attorney at work. She's been wearing shoes to work that make me think WTF?

Here's a similar shoe to what she's been wearing:

Appropriate for work???

Ouch. I can't say they are wildly inappropriate, but they look painful to wear.

I think they're fine as long as she can walk in them.

What makes them inappropriate?

Nope. Not inferring anything. I googled "stripper shoes" and the show I posted came up pretty early on. Cuz that's what her shoes remind me of. I can't find her exact shoes but the one I posted is pretty close....

Hooker shoes.

Not appropriate, but if she is very senior she has earned the right.

I have a colleague who has the Sergio Rossi version of these. I agree they look like stripper shoes. I don't like them as "going out" shoes, much less in the workplace.

Yeah, I'm kinda appalled and jealous at the same time.

I feel as though there's more to the story between you and new senior attorney. Want to talk about it?

Hooker shoes. Not appropriate in a law firm, especially if he wants to continue to be taken seriously.

I think any high-heel shoe would cause a problem for him

I think they are too much for the workplace.

Well new senior attorney seems to have done well so far. I wouldn't be so quick to judge. At least not before walking a mile in her shoes.
