Well, I was about to say that this was a solid win for Ivanka, but I think Barbie wore it better. As PP noted, the vertical stripes really work for her, and I like the shirt except for the weird cuffs. She managed to be both professional/covered and casual for touring a national park, which is exactly how a normal woman would approach this sort of tour. That's all really, really extraordinary for her, so let's give some credit. I'm fine with the high-rise jeans, although would prefer a little looser leg (hers look like the madewell ones I bought but now resent because I thought the legs would be wider). I like the idea of a leather belt, but there's something about this one that's not really working for me -- Barbie's seems better for some reason. And no stilletos, which is phenomenal (I think these are the boots she bought for their dude ranch vacation after the Mt Rushmore rally, but I'm sad that I know that). I totally lost out on my Bingo card -- fingers crossed for the childcare center!

Agree. The other photos I had seen weren't as close up and I hadn't noticed the cuffs, so it looked like a classic shirt. And the tight jeans. Look at the woman ranger, her slacks are high waisted and look great.

She must have a 'fun house' mirror. Who would look at this outfit, especially with the floppy, sloppy cuffs and think this looks good. I'll grant that the fit through the bust is good but it doesn't have to be 'either/or'. She's also too thick in the waist and hips to pull off skinny jeans. Jared, on the other hand, can. He's got a better hourglass figure than she does.

The vertical stripes aren't really "Western" either - I appreciate that the shirt fits (for once) but it looks like something that a mid level government employee would wear to work.

Even that said - I feel like that shirt untucked with some more normal looking jeans would have been ok, maybe?
