A lot more people agree with you than not. Look this 24-hour news coverage is ridiculous. Not one mention today of the murders in Colorado. Half of America are saying Charlie who, or that guy who was killed that’s all in the news. What did he do?

Yeah I had never heard his name before the shooting. Even after the shooting I had no idea it would blow up like this.

This is the first I had ever heard of Charlie Kirk. Absolutely no clue who this person was.

Maybe ask yourself why you are so uninformed.

Why should we burden ourselves with such things? Don’t you have enough personal issues to occupy your time? Don’t we all have enough on our plate? Why do I need to entertain this?

Ask yourself why you opened thread “Charlie Kirk shot” on a political forum and repeatedly post.

DP: Because it's on the news on every channel right now, and the POTUS is threatening people over it, so yeah -- on our radar now.

Now we know, they have no idea where the shooter is, or even who the shooter is...for that matter. I mean, what could go wrong when you have an FBI Director with no experience...and an idiot president who insisted on firing the most experienced and longest serving experts at the FBI.

MAGA dummies clowns as usual

That’s…new.

It’s getting more and more sick and twisted.

I feel like I am missing something. This guy wasn’t very well known, sorry to burst some bubbles. It’s horrible, devastating, same as any death due to murder. But why the pomp and circumstance?

He is MAGA famous. If you aren’t into online political content on twitter and tik tok, odds are you won’t know him.

He was youth famous. It is not surprising DCUM posters, who tend to be out of touch with youth trends, did not know him.

He was WHITE youth famous.

The media coverage really isn't about him. It is appropriately about the effectiveness of our two major political parties with their agenda to divide us. We've been divided and conquered by the wealthy financial backers of our two parties. Newsflash- our fellow Americans aren't our enemies! Stop the hate! Remove the toxic influence of money in politics! #not rocket science

Seems like a part of some plan to rile up the base.

You also realize every American flag is being flown at half mast in his honor? Until Sunday.

He is the MAGA martyr. It is specifically for their deep base, it is not for independent or apolitical Americans.

He's right.

Federal law enforcement has designated right-wing violence as the most pressing domestic terror threat.

This is simply a fact. The assassination of Kirk doesn't change that.

Where is your fact coming from? Out of curiosity, I looked to see if the federal government has said this. I didn't find anything supporting your fact. Rather, this Homeland Security report from 2025 identifies Domestic Violent Extremists as the primary threat, and defines them to be individuals motivated by various ideologies (emphasis added):

A Domestic Violent Extremist (DVE) is an individual based and operating primarily within the United States or its territories without direction or inspiration from a foreign terrorist group or other foreign power who seeks to further political or social goals wholly or in part through unlawful acts of force or violence. The mere advocacy of political or social positions, political activism, use of strong rhetoric, or generalized philosophic embrace of violent tactics alone does not constitute violent extremism and may be constitutionally protected. DVEs can fit within one or multiple categories of ideological motivation and can span a broad range of groups or movements. I&A utilizes this term synonymously with “domestic terrorist.”

The extremism needs to be dialed down and we need better gun control. Anyone disagreeing with this is just plain wrong.

On the sidelines politically, but you are crazy. A person was politically targeted for exposing political stuff, and you think they are going to give up their guns so they can be murdered more easily? LMAO!

This event will cause another 100 million gun sales in the USA, adding to the already 900 million firearms out there.

Bullshit. "Good guys with guns" haven't stopped shit.

You are full of crap with your "murdered more easily."

All you are doing is shilling for the gun industry to sell more death and misery.

You know, I am not a conspiracy theorist but I am going out on a limb and wagering that all this attention to this unknown person is to divert our attention.

It’s kinda cringe his last words were gang violence and he was making a point about black on black violence when he gets shot dead by a white man

Yeah they’re really trying to turn him into RFK Sr. or MLK. It’s gross.
