That's great. I hope that means this thread will die, except that maybe someone can bump it in a few years and give us an update on resale prices.

Or if the school district gets rezoned.

Look, just because they could take a group of the richest kids out of the entire cluster of Wootton, from a location that has no roots in the community, and move them to a poorer school that is literally down the road from Mt. Prospect does not mean they'll do it. They have so many other options. For example, they could take some of the poorest kids out of the Wootton cluster and move them to Crown instead. I think that would be best for everybody because my house value wouldn't go down.

All you know is the income levels at this elementary school it's zoned too. Go look in the thread about Travilah Elementary...people might actually be happy at this point if it got rezoned.

Both 174 and 175 sold. 176 will probably sell soon. You could get a super nice brand new home for 2.4-2.8 depending on model, options and upgrades. Surprised no one bought it yet.

And that number would be with crazy upgrades.

Who would spend $3M here when you could buy in Bethesda or Potomac?

People who don’t want to live in Bethesda or Potomac.

People who like the area including: nature, hiking trails, close to shopping and restaurants at Kentlands/Downtown Crown/Rio/Rockville.

People who want a new modern home.

People who want to live in a true neighborhood and have sense of community.

People

“True neighborhood”? That place is just a giant McMansion farm LOL.
I agree about the mcmansion farm but the area in general is really great. Too much crime and parking issues in Bethesda and Arlington. Would need to do a massive reno or tear down in Potomac, ok if you have $4m.

It is a thriving community and a true neighborhood. Organized picnics and activities. Yesterday we had a neighborhood 5K.

It’s a fantastic place to live.

Well…… that’s it folks. Mt prospect is SOLD OUT! All lots taken. For all the toll brother trolls, for all those who accused toll brothers of hiring trolls, for all those including myself who never heard of the word “trolls”, for the dooms day crowd 😀, the pessimists, the enthusiasts and everyone in between, for those who bought and for those who didn’t, for those who call the place “north Potomac” , for those who call the place Gaithersburg or darnestown and for those who bought in 2021 and for the person who bought the last available lot, congratulations! Life is about taking chances. It’s a beautiful community. Not perfect but wonderful nonetheless. I know. I live in mt . Prospect.
