Fcv has social media to post their fluffy BS. I find it absolutely hilarious you're acting holier than now against people literally explaining their own opinions and experiences with this club. I've had numerous conversations with people looking at trying out about this club and why we left. I only know one family that's staying and that speaks of volumes to the club's current state of affairs and the lack of confidence former fcv players have in the club and AB in general.

If you can be trusted to be who you say you are (a former club parent) then what you don’t seem to grasp is that this is your PAST experience. We heard you. Thankyou for your service. We can take it from here.

Current families see good things happening NOW and choose to be optimistic. If the upcoming year is not good, then we can leave. I’ll base that decision on REAL TIME data and MY experience. You are not with the club or in the loop so you’re information is outdated and not relevant.

What I can’t understand is why your still here???? I cannot think of any reason except: 1) you are unstable or 2) you have a grudge you can’t get over (see pt 1), or 3) you are not a former parent but actually a competitor club trying to slander the competition.

Any reasonable and sane former club parent would share their feedback at the time and move on instead of coming back day after day to talk about the past and constantly try to get intel here about the present for a club you’re not even in. Nothing about your behavior is normal or smells right.

Hi Adam. We met this past winter before we left when you lied to our face with your sales pitch with our team. 👋 How's the fields you're building/terfing going that you told us parents were 100% in the works and ready before the spring season ended?

AB's sales pitch feels like 90% of this club's problem. Smarmy or out of his depth. I really do hope the new folks have a good experience. But if all their optimism is based on AB's promises...they should temper their enthusiasm a bit.

The group of former FCV parents is the crazy ex that can't move on with their life. I'm looking forward to reading more during the actual season when we start seeing game results.

I tried to ask about the summer plans. No one actually answered.

I doubt FCV is going to respond to any emails from families that left the program this year.

I think you are pathologically ill. I’m not Adam. I am sorry for whatever happened to you but it’s time let it go.Whether these grievances were real or perceived, it’s in the past now. If you cant let go on your own find a therapist to talk to. This is not the appropriate place to try to work through your rage. You clearly really need some help.

You only know one family staying? That doesn't speak of anything having to do with club but more about how small you circle of friends is. I'm not an FCV member and I know multiple families staying. Sounds like you are a follower and only left to stay friends with the cool kids.

Any news on fields for the fall?

Do they have fields with lights?

At first, when I heard that FCV was planning out for the summer - I thought "WOW. They've really got things together."
But, in talking to a family that is staying, it seems those summer workouts are needed to host ID sessions for teams that need players.

I don't think forum is costing them business - they've done it to themselves.

Let’s be real here. This club has always had rolling ID sessions. They have always happily taken players who can raise the bar.

What age group? Many clubs in the region have skinny rosters for some age groups - so I guess your jab about costing themselves business could be applied to most club using that logic.

Also, your comment isn’t very informative if it isn’t more specific around which level of team (e.g., GA1, GA2, REC). Maybe your intent was to have readers to read into it, assuming it is even true.

If they are still hosting ID sessions in the summer I would be concerned for the GA teams.

The person never said this was a GA team or at what age group.

This is maybe the most pathetic post to date. How old are you that you feel motivated to come to a board like this and keep echoing your tired old complaint that StJ didn’t build you a futbol stadium for your daughter? Unless you are rich and entitled I could think of several reasons why such a project wouldn’t have happened, all of which don’t include your favorite punching bag Adam. Let me guess you are a real estate expert?

AB reports to someone. Some things must be out of his control or pay grade. His lesson would be to stop talking about stuff until the ink is dry or ground is broken. And even then, bad news doesn't get better with age. If something falls thru, be up front about it. Or better yet...don't promise.

My kids have played at multiple clubs over the years and the people in AB’s current position are rather immaterial to the club experience. For staters, he isn’t going to be the coach for like 90% of the players at StJ, so for the parts of the experience that matters my recommendation is value the thing that your interact with most (e.g, coach). I guess if you are one of those parents who is always up in the grill of the coach, the training director, the college coordinator, the field scheduler, always demanding your kid starts, gets a stadium built for them (new one!), and gets more playing time. Perhaps we reading this thread should wonder if the real blessing or risk is not with AB, but with whatever club you and your kid ended up at. Your constant negativity of this board makes me think parents at STJ are probably happy you have left, no matter how bad/good AB turns out to be. Having both of you around would certainly be worse.

I found a 2023 pdf where the club mentions a deal with Fairfax parks for fairfax/loudoun border fields. Is this what the Crazy Dad and Fake Parent is going on about? So the public park space didn’t work out? So what? We have fields now that are much closer. As someone in Western Loudoun with 2 players I am glad! We would not stay if the fields were that far.
If FCV does ever look at this board: you already have Fairfax STJ, if you are thinking about a permanent second Loudoun location, it should be in Loudoun.
