FBI reaches out to second woman who has accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/fbi-reaches-out-to-second-woman-who-has-accused-brett-kavanaugh-of-sexual-misconduct/2018/09/29/365f959c-c3f8-11e8-8f06-009b39c3f6dd_story.html?utm_term=.4bfa60d007ba

Of course they will reach out to her. They will also talk to the people that were there and said it did not happen. That’s the whole point of this.

No one said it did not happen. Stop creating alternate reality. Some people said they did not remember and people said, he was such a nice guy, he would never have done that! ANd more have said that he was a belligerent drunk who drank to excess and lied under oath about drinking.

Sorry, in reference to the accuser quoted above, there are people that were there, remember the exact incident and say, never happened

"Per a transcript from a committee phone call with Kavanaugh dated Sept. 25, an anonymous letter was sent to Colorado's Republican Senator Cory Gardner from a woman in Denver late last week. As detailed in the transcript, the letter states the woman's daughter, from Boulder, saw Kavanaugh shove his date, a friend of the woman's daughter, "very aggressively and sexually" against a wall in 1998 in Washington D.C."

How do you shove someone sexually? This is so ridiculous!!!!! The loons are out in full force

Maybe by pushing them, then grinding into them?

This is something for the FBI to look into. I'm surmising that at least one of the women involved is a Republican, since they decided to send their anonymous report to a Republican Senator and Colorado does have a Democratic senator. I hope they cooperate with the FBI

This allegation was sent anonymously so there is no way for the FBI to look into it unless the author or one of those involves identifies themselves to the FBI.

Right, and I'm no expert on the FBI, but it seems like they could approach the Senator, who could approach the women to ask if they would identify themselves to the FBI.

Actually, I suspect the FBI is already "on" this, to the extent they can be. It sounds a lot like how the Ford accusation started.

I believe the letter was sent to the Senator anonymously. He doesn't know who to contact. They will have to initiate contact.

Okay now I don't think you are even a woman. Because we ALL know what that means.

She wasn't anonymous. She left a message that said that she was attacked by one of the people on the list and left her contact information. I don't know if they can find the woman who reported it, but it hinges on if the person who witnesses it is willing to speak up. She wasn't before but with promise of confidentiality she may be willing to now.

What I found interesting was she made such a point that the first two years of college went poorly for her. OK well this happened several years prior. How did the rest of high school go? Wouldn't she struggle immediately afterwards as well? It made me wonder if her traumatic event occurred much later than she claims.

Assuming you are genuinely curious:

She did not say she did great those last two years. She was not asked that in particular so we do not know.

But more importantly, it is not unusual for sexual assault survivors to push things away for long periods of time.

The stories that stick out in my mind in particular are the women who are not able to breastfeed their babies (not able emotionally) because they are survivors of childhood sexual assault, that they thought they had put behind them. Many women have to face what happened and deal with it at that time.

So ironic that they could be the same mothers who resist saying "no" to their disobedient little boys. They're literally creating the next generation of entited abusers.

Someone, please explain this outrageous phenomenon.

Could you explain what outrageous phenomenon you are referring to? And I see how you managed to blame women for men’s behavior.

How often do you say "no" to your boy?

What is the phenomenon? And why are you blaming the behavior of men on women?

Look into Brock’s suits against his former partner if you want to see a “lovely” person.

Can you explain what this refers to?

When Brock and his partner broke up, he sued him over (ironically) a Delaware beach house. Maybe Brock or his partner is one of Ford’s Delaware beach friends who advised her what to do in August

How can the senator approach the women? He does not know who they are. Do you have any idea what anonymous letter means? It means letter with no information. Are you really that dense?

I think she was at the beach in California. It was clear from the ideas that were given to her that none of them were people remotely connected to politics in anyway. They were trying to be helpful but it was not their area of expertise at all. Also clear none of them were lawyers either.

ABA had issues with Kavanaugh back in 2006, when they questioned his bias:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/09/28/american-bar-association-had-kavanaugh-concerns-years-ago-republicans-dismissed-those-too/?utm_term=.467f269975ba

But in May 2006, as Republicans hoped to finally push Kavanaugh’s nomination across the finish line, the ABA downgraded its endorsement.

The group’s judicial investigator had recently interviewed dozens of lawyers, judges and others who had worked with Kavanaugh, the ABA announced at the time, and some of them raised red flags about “his professional experience and the question of his freedom from bias and open-mindedness.”

“One interviewee remained concerned about the nominee’s ability to be balanced and fair should he assume a federal judgeship,” the ABA committee chairman wrote to senators in 2006. “Another interviewee echoed essentially the same thoughts: ‘(He is) immovable and very stubborn and frustrating to deal with on some issues.’”

A particular judge had told the ABA that Kavanaugh had been “sanctimonious” during an oral argument in court. Several lawyers considered him inexperienced, and one said he “dissembled” in the courtroom.

Pretty sure that the woman who dated him in 1998 has refuted this. She is now a judge.

Did he only date one person in 1998? Let's see his calendar!

Whoa! After reading this his unhinged testimony on Thursday makes much more sense. What was the WH thinking nominating him? He is not a conservative judge, he is a Republican operative.
