This show needs to be saved - the material is dry, the cast as no chemistry, and clearly, the fans can sense this.

I agree with everything you said! This sums it up perfectly.

I do like Kane...I've been listening to him since the beginning. I can't say quite why I like him, but he seems likable enough. I have enjoyed following his kids growing up, I remember when both of them were born and he does seem like a genuinely good father.

As for John...weirdly he may be my favorite person on the show. I like that he isn't afraid to voice unpopular opinions (sometimes I do get tired of Kane's 'we love everything and everyone! we don't judge!' spiel all day). If you follow him on social networks, he occasionally posts things that are somewhat controversial (I get the sense that he is pretty conservative politically speaking). Either way, I kind of like his honesty and snide remarks both on twitter and on the show.

The girls....ugh. I miss Sarah (never liked Mel). Can we please get a woman of substance, who can (unlike Rose) actually contribute something of substance to a conversation and can (unlike Danni) go through a show without demonstrating what a train wreck her life is and what a drama queen she is. The Kane show REALLY needs to fire both of them and get another female co-host. The 'girl in Florida' (first Mel, now Rose) does not need to be a part of the show.

Yes, yes, YES!!! Esp. the part about missing a woman of substance (aka Sarah) and NOT needing the rando girl from FL who doesn't contribute much of anything (I'm looking at you Mel and Rose, though I did like Mel better on STM). I also remember when Kane's kids were born and I LOOOOOVED the Kane Show back then! UGH I despise what the show has become.

I had to unfollow/unlike Danni on FB and IG. I can't take her anymore. Two quotes from this morning just made me roll my eyes hard and I'm done with her.

"Shout out to {guy's name} who got me PREMIUM gas when I ran out yesterday! My car can't take nothing but the good gas!" brag brag brag, look at me, let me let you all know I got a brand new car because I'm so fabulous after my divorce!

"I think the divorce rate is OVER 50% now. I'm SURE it's over 50% now!" hmm....could it be because you are getting divorced and you want to make it seem like it's totally normal and hey, everybody's doing it.

I don't know if it's that she's changed so much in the past couple of years because of the "fame" going to her head or if her true colors are coming out. Whatever it is, she is NOT a likable person anymore. She swears she wishes the best for Slimm and they are friends forever, but that girl is going to lose it when Slimm finds someone who treats him well and truly loves him.

There was a segment once about what it says about people who run out of gas in the middle of the road. They said that happens to someone who doesn't have their life together because you should be able to prevent something like that. Idk if anyone remembers that segment, but I just think it's ironic now with Danni.

My theory after being avid kane show listener for years--

Kane is in a depressive phase. he's admitted to being bipolar. he was totally manic after natasha left and now he can't get out of bed
IJ is vying for kane's job while simultaneously being up his butt because kane was the one who "got him to where he is today."
Kane is in the closet. all of his constant remarks about women's looks = cover up. he uses john as an emotional crutch (hey watch my kids! hey come to dinner with us!)
Dani is sketchy and been a b since day 1. anyone remember Bridezillas: Marriage Bootcamp? Those were her TRUE colors -- negative, conniving, martyr, famewhore
Oh and I would NOT be surprised if him and natasha had an at least emotionally abusive relationship. if anyone remembers the one interview on ABC 7 maybe a year ago where Kane and Natasha were featured and it was all about how Kane is "on the right meds now," natasha's eyes read as if she's hiding shit and/or has been through hell with this man.

I think kane struggles with a combination of mental illness, closeted homosexuality, narcissism and maybe some genius if we're being generous.

If Kane doesn't get replaced by John by the end of 2016 i will be surprised.

and ITA, this show needs a competent woman that brings substantive dialogue to the floor. listening to this morning's show on "OMG is Leo CUTE or HOT in romeo + juliet?" vs DC 101's (albiet fluffy) coverage of last night's debate proved to me that 99.5 is catering to dumbass & immature audience who just want to live in la la land and talk about the next hot viral video. hence, the IG comments kissing Dani's ass. theyre all too dumb to know the difference
