They're all good coaches and we should appreciate their time, passion, their assistant coaches, supporting staff, etc. It gets super competitive this time of year, but let's enjoy watching the boys have a great time on the field.

Yep it is really cool for Riverside. Those teams a few years ago were really fun to watch. Public school kids can in fact start and play for National Champion contenders.

Bobby Feisee from Lake Braddock won National Championships with Syracuse in 1990 (vacated) and 1993. Adam Fassnacht from Robinson won a National Championship with UVA in 2006. Matt Kugler from Robinson won a National Championship with UVA in 2011. Sean O'Sullivan from Westfield won a National Championship with Loyola in 2012. Jack Rowlett 2016 UNC - already mentioned. Dylan Maltz from Stone Bridge won a National Championship with Maryland in 2017.

I cannot recall kids from the same NoVa public team playing against each other in the DI Final Four. Very cool.

Eric Lebowitz (Annandale - '97 or '98) was on the UVA National Championship Team in 1999.

Actually all Maltz Boys (including pops) have a National Championship

Derek Sr Syracuse 83'
Derek Jr Syracuse 13' attended Stone Bridge
Dylan Maryland 17' attended Stone Bridge
Danny Maryland 22" Riverside

I wonder how many families can say that?
