FCV is last on the priority tree for PRCS field space, as it’s measured by rec kids in your program who reside in the county.

They can’t change that.

But for the three dads that keep posting in here about “we like the coaches and their play style”. What style? Half of them are referees coming to coach for the first time and Bastien did boys teams. Cmon.

Yet you seem to get some pleasure around telling everybody on this board how right you are. Nobody cares. Move on, we all get that you had options and moved to another club. If you don’t have something nice to say, then don’t say it. Nobody (except yourself) has asked about your perspective around half of the topics on this thread. You are just making every parent who has left look like a serious part of the problem. The account of a game this past weekend only proves the point that current and exiting parents are part of the problem.

What age group this weekend or what happened?

What age group?

Better hope it is a field like Potomac Green 4.

Is Bastien still comin to FCV? His last communication was 6+ weeks ago.

You are all fools. People still at the club are receiving emails from Bastien regarding schedules and practice fields . If you were in the know you would know all this. This is exactly why all this trolling on this thread is so clearly unnecessary.

Our family spoke with Bastien on May 22, May 24, and May 28.

Also received a detailed email(believe it was age group(s) specific but could be wrong) regarding schedule from June 11 until August 11 with information regarding training times and locations.

There is some TBD dates or times but largely a completed document was presented.

GA 2 players happy to be joined by Brave failure players to form the new GA 1 teams. We can't wait to show our skills at Champions League events later this year. Bubye former players.

I find it curious that they have permits until August 11. Fairfax County just released summer permits which go from June 16- July 31 yesterday. Fall permits begin August 1. Are these fields in Loudoun? Private facilities like George Mason?

That aligns with Loudoun field allocation "Summer (3rd Sunday in June -2nd Saturday in August)"

Players at this level honestly should be fine for GA.

3 times in a week? Trying to work your way into Bastien's favorites?

The fields under construction?

I'm not a current or former FCV parent. I find it interesting that the parents that left are so obsessed with what FCV is doing for the next season. You all should move on to threads about your new club. The families that stayed and the new families coming in are trusting the new direction that FCV is moving. Only time will tell if FCV can rebuild to the level they were at prior to the leadership changes. Coming here and asking about fields and bad mouthing the leadership isn't going to change the opinion of anyone here.

Yes it does. Prospective parents do change their mind on this forum. It's why FCV would regularly post here just to get their name on the first page.

Which is why flaming on fields is irritating. Yes it is a concern but not helpful because then it just looks like trolls...
