AB & Co. should realize they are operating from a place of weakness. The normal snowballing and stringing people along that is the youth soccer business should go out the window when it is widely known that your club has been filleted by VRSC and the surrounding ECNL clubs.

For what it is worth I have not to date experienced any lack of transparency or honesty with FCV. Nobody promised me a new stadium to practice in. I guess time will tell, but if the offer was to play on a specific team and if that changes we can cross that bridge. But at this point I have zero reason to believe that what they have said is inaccurate or untrue. Again, it seems like context matters, and that some of the targeted past experiences mentioned here are with respect to certain individuals rather than representing the entire club. I can understand that the club experience is largely defined by your own personal interactions with representatives of said club, but that doesn’t mean every representative interaction is the same.

😂

Didn't watch the preseason zoom town hall meeting, eh? You being ignorant and uninformed doesn't make what everyone else is saying untrue. The field and facility promises are well documented and an ongoing problem for years that gets kicked down the road.

If it was the preseason zoom meeting I am aware of it was for current players. Calling somebody ignorant seems a bit excessive.

How? If someone is claiming they know so much more about a club then people who formerly and currently played this year is excessive and delusional.

Maybe, but maybe not. What you are saying is that you have a crystal ball to predict the future. I don’t believe you.

FCV is last on the priority tree for PRCS field space, as it’s measured by rec kids in your program who reside in the county.

They can’t change that.

But for the three dads that keep posting in here about “we like the coaches and their play style”. What style? Half of them are referees coming to coach for the first time and Bastien did boys teams. Cmon.

Yet you seem to get some pleasure around telling everybody on this board how right you are. Nobody cares. Move on, we all get that you had options and moved to another club. If you don’t have something nice to say, then don’t say it. Nobody (except yourself) has asked about your perspective around half of the topics on this thread. You are just making every parent who has left look like a serious part of the problem. The account of a game this past weekend only proves the point that current and exiting parents are part of the problem.

Sadly his kids looked lost on the field and it only made matters worse as the parents just kept piling on him as he got really quiet and sulked on the sideline as the score continually got worse and worse.

This seems like you're leaving out some details. I've never seen/heard of parents and coaches yelling back and forth at each other. Parents of ABs team were yelling at him for coaching the kids or are you saying opposing team parents were yelling at AB?

Other team’s parents were not involved - only FCV. Clearly frustrated parents in their last game of the season who were thus unfiltered in sharing their feelings and displeasure with/about their coach.

Sigh. This makes me sad. Those kids are good kids. Several of them have guest played with us and were very good. If this was Sunday, its too bad you didn't see the coach of the game prior. He's beloved by kids and parents alike.

I guess what I want new folks to know is there is plenty to find wrong with AB, but if you are new to the club, I hope you have a good experience. We did.

Not OP but yeah, the 2015-2008 families that have ALL left are wrong.

What about the championship teams? The 06s (2025s) and 07s? Surely they all stayed?

Who knows, but they don't show up under TSJFCV in soccer wire anymore.
