Monique retweeted some guy who claims that you can rent any citibike at any time by just entering the serial number. So it seems like he’s implying that she faked the receipts from
home by entering the exact serial number. And she must have somehow also faked the date and time of the rental…these people are going to great (hilarious) lengths to stick to their guns.

If you go to that guy's twitter, people dispute that you can do that. Like this tweet: "You also have to know where in the city that bike is located (impossible), bring it back to the dock in the video. Then rent and redock."

But as everybody else has always said, these receipts have gained such traction that there's no way her lawyer would make them up without risking getting debarred. You can be sure they'll be a big part of the trial(s). Also that Citibike will be asked to verify them.

Maybe the guys faked the bike rental. Why would she fake a bike rental coming off a 10 hour shift?

The real question is why isn't the man coming forward with a receipt to prove he's right and she's lying. That would fix all of this.

Wasn’t @Imposter_Edits the Twitter account that first posted the video? Were they the source of video-gone-viral? Someone upthread said they deleted the video, but they’ve historically been the landing pad for racially motivated videos. Now they’re back on with a change of heart— misunderstanding, and posted her GoFund Me. Who shared the video to @Imposter_Edits? Do they legally have to release the identity of sharer?

The idea she could have faked her receipt for the bike by entering in the serial number later from home assumes that she knew, at that point, the video would be posted to social media and go viral and she’d be labeled a Karen and need a defense.

Oh, also it means she’d need to know in advance that you can rent a bike with a serial number and have photographed or memorized the serial number from the bike in question. Since we have the video of her last known interaction with the bike, I guess she memorized it during that altercation.

After a 10 hour shift, she's going to enter a fake number and the bike is right outside her office. It looks like rentals are monthly so if she's paying a monthly fee why would she fake it?
