Will Whittle be around next year?

'That's why the "news" coming out is just a storm of BS meant to delay and confuse.'

Hard to believe anybody is still willing to put their children into the hands of people whose behavior fits no description but this one. Hopefully, there are no longer any who are.

Before concluding, I do want to provide a brief capital transaction update. On this front, we continue to make good progress including successfully concluding multiple bridge financings over the past few weeks for payroll and critical expenses. Last night, Chris shared with me (and with [parent names redacted here]) a point-by-point update on the status of the closing and, without boring you with endless detail, it was an exciting report. We know this is like watching grass grow—but I can assure you that we have good gardeners!

The usage of the term "bridge financings" for the parent sponsored donations that are keeping the school limping along on life support until the end of the school year is pathetic - truly a baffle with BS approach to making it seem that big things are afoot..

A bridge to nowhere for those infusing funds beyond the obvious and understandable self-interest in seeing their children finish the school year and / or graduate and go off to college. MR, CW and the rest of the clowns need to stop pretending that it is anything more

This is just a portion of the April newsletter:

Please see below for additional important updates.

Re-enrollments and Deposit Reimbursements

We will soon be completing our “re-enrollment” process for the next school year. We understand that some parents have made deposits at other schools as a contingency. Please be advised that we will deduct any such non-refundable deposits from your Whittle tuition for the 2022-2023 school year when you re-enroll with us. You will simply need to provide our Admissions team with a receipt of the paid deposit, and we will take care of the Whittle paperwork via TADS

I highly doubt that these parents made deposits to other schools as mere contingency. I am sure they are actually planning to pull their kid out after the current year due to so many empty meaningless words over the years.

It’s cute that they make no assurances that the Whittle deposit / tuition payment from parents will be reimbursed in the extraordinarily unlikely circumstance that the school does not continue to operate.

Seriously. Trying to be cute when they're doing real harm to the current and future lives of kids, parents, and teachers.

putting "re-enrollment" in quotes suggests they may not actually countersign real contracts and are probably offering a non-traditional method for families to indicate interest..

They are air quotes, since they know that there won't be a school next year to enroll in.
