Don't you think there are enough ECNL teams in Virginia? |
The 2006 boy's team was heavily impacted. |
From what I have seen on this forum, nothing good comes out of these very specific team and player discussions and they often take an ugly turn. They added some players and lost some players just like many other teams. Maybe the new combination of players will work well together and be more competitive, maybe they won't. It will all play out on the field soon enough. |
| On my kid's u-little team, a couple players left (I'm told they gave up travel soccer due to time commitments from other sports), 1 kid was moved down, and a couple new players have been moved up. Seems to be the usual amount of movement that I've seen over the past few years with the club. |
Not enough competitive and worthy teams, no! |
So you propose to add more teams? Yes please water down some more. |
| You all are too competitive. Why can't you just enjoy the fun of playing the game? It's not like your kid is getting a soccer scholarship when they grow up lmao |
| It might be that current underperforming ECNL teams will drop to ECNL-R league and other ECNL-R teams might get promoted. |
Teams aren't promoted or relegated, clubs are. |
| Fear that the Vienna teams are placed in too high of brackets for the OBGC Capital Cup. At least a couple of their teams are in brackets with ECNL clubs. Hope I'm wrong, but it could make for some long quiet drives back from Maryland. |
| but you can say that you play against ECNL teams. |
I think the 07 boys have a very good shot at winning top division. Only one ECNL team in the division and arguably one of the weakest ECNL teams in the area. We'll see how it goes. |
Thinking this won't age well. But that's why they play the games. |
|
Vienna dominating some ECNL teams!
|
| What happened with the 08 boys? Saw they were 1 and 2. The last few years they were really strong. |
