Confirmed |
Because there no longer is a league difference between NVA and VRSC, NVA has demonstrated they are willing to sacrifice their girls for their boys, and NVA’s current squads are being gutted as its best players are working to move to VDA, Arlington, or Union. |
LS is really trying hard to keep their teams together by starting rumors against VRSC and TSJ. |
There is zero chance VRSC is being relegated to Aspire when its teams are mid-table in just their first season. |
CONFIRMED! Some NVA girls being welcomed to fill out roster and ,ale teams nationally competitive. |
Oh, bless your heart... Just goes to show the OP might need a dictionary lesson on the word 'nepotism'. Bless their cotton socks! |
nawww quite the opposite some of us Loudoun soccer parents have egg on our face for not keeping friends together chasing a dream and being loyal to a loyal less club. |
might as well win with school friends enjoy it and get some ez hardware and exposure. I think thats the marketing pitch at NVA/LS . Why not play with old buddies. |
Nah… I just saw how the coaches started treating the kids as they got older—real charmers, let me tell ya. Now, about those nepo coaches? Oh boy, grab some popcorn. This guy was coaching the elite boys team (plot twist: they weren't exactly setting the world on fire), so they shuffled him over to the girls' side with a few other “ringers” and his child. Figured they'd have better luck pushing the girls around. Classic, right? But hey, don't go losing sleep over it. You don't work for LS, do you? No need to be so loyal. They're about as loyal as a cat is to a bath. Be loyal to your family instead. Just sayin'... |
People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. On one hand, you admit that the top LS players will seek out other ecnl clubs but you say GA > Ecnl. VRSC has full teams but are actively trying to recruit NVA players on top of current players. What happens to the current players? Oh yea, VRSC coaches have the best reputation for their style of coaching and culture. Ask any FCV former player about their mental health and what they think about the coaching staff. This is rich! |
Oh no, I am not saying that ECNL or GA are better. Trust me, I do not get into those verbal wrestling matches. It is like arguing whether iPhones or Galaxy phones are better—just a bunch of hot air. I just mosey on out of there. It is nearly impossible to say which league is the cream of the crop. And hey, every club has its share of knucklehead coaches and a few gems, just like they have players who shine and others who make you scratch your head wondering how they even made the cut. At the end of the day, I reckon we put talent on a higher pedestal than it deserves around these parts. As for the clubs, it is all about making the almighty dollar. They are running a business, folks. What do you expect? |
On most teams, there are a mix of ga level players combined with legacy players. Most legacy players were provided one year of ga access that wasn’t deserved due to it being a new club and many players with champions cup experience. There will be potential to add some competitive players to each team for the 25/26. Yes, some of those legacy players will be added to an aspire team, but that will be good for them as they will play and develop more in that environment. Current ga2 players also will benefit from access to aspire. |
Why wouldn’t a ga level player go to a former ecnl team and fill in the gaps there for players who left for vda and fvu? That sounds like the more likely path to forming a nationally competitive level ga team in the area. |
Before calling me a troll and before claiming I’m a parent from a competing club or someone with any vested interest at all, please communicate with you VRSC TD/GA leadership and ask them to confirm that the teams will be playing in GA vs. Aspire 2025-26 and beyond. |
Uh oh. Not good. What other clubs got relegated to GA 2. There some MD , DE and PA teams that are lower than VRSC in the GA standings. Are they getting relegated too? Some are sitting quiet. |
