Someone commented on this a few months ago, and I think they hit the nail on the head. Ivanka thinks she’s a new, modern Kennedy. She wants to be a fashion icon who wears interesting, art-like clothing. She wants to be talked about like Jackie O. But she doesn’t seem to have that gift, and her purchased figure also makes this difficult. So instead she flounders around, avoiding professional boring suits, and instead wears ill-fitting, inappropriate outfits.

Completely agree. It’s not a matter of not knowing how to dress—she did so for a reality tv show. Your late 30s is an odd time to get the frilly, flowery, flowy—yet some how sexed up dresses. I think they did some polling among evangelicals as to what would appeal.

One of the few times she actually dressed appropriately as an “advisor” to the president was the day she pulled the Bible out for her dad.

The Apprentice is obviously staged "reality"...so I'm assuming that the network provided a stylist who actually knew what they were doing.

I don't know if Ivanka uses a stylist or not, but for sure she's the one calling the shots. I think she's just got completely insane taste, and these days she has free reign to express it since she's not representing a fashion brand or a TV brand.

True, but she must know what bras she used then. And she has eyes—she could see that the blouse she wore for the UN was showing her headlights. I guess common sense isn’t her family’s strong suit. At least these last few months she hasn’t been doing this. It’s like there’s a sign in her closet saying “X number of days without a nip slip.”

Yes, exactly. Jarvanka already had their sights set on being our nation’s “Jewish Kennedys.” And Trump now thinks that Ivanka can be the first female U.S. president.

It has nothing to of with being 'Jewish'. There is nothing in Jarvanka's behavior that is anything but narcissistic.

I actually think she would have made a decent First Lady. She's no Michelle Obama, that's for sure, but I think she would be capable of showing some more warmth and empathy than Melania. I think she is capable of being charming.
