per speculation but my uncle has severe OCD like Kane said he had too. when myuncle had to deal with my aunt's passing we noticed over time thst hid OCD had turned into a full on manias. maybe we have a psych on here who could explain better? It would make some sense out of the random slurring we keep hearing during the show...

Oh please, his neighbors probably love having him there...they can tell all their friends at their haughty wine parties that guess who lives next door?? heck, he might be joining them!
Another point is they also have seen how Kane treats people that call him out.(Roses, Kanescam...some other made up bit that "guess what I saw my neighbor doing the other day"
I wouldnt want to be on bad side. Not to mention we know he's talked about mutliple times that he's all buddy buddy wiith MCPD

I listened the show for the first time live after over 2 years and I have to say I quite enjoyed it. I skipped through all the Kane scams and War of Roses, though; they were so fake I couldn't pretend to like and sit through them. But on other topics, I think the show flows pretty well. Danni did add some spunk to it when she first came but she progressively got more self-centered and obnoxious with repeatedly breastfeeding/working mom subject, so I am content that she's gone. Finally, I am not being asked for 5 dollar!

I will admit - the show is a little boring now. It lacks a typical strong, funny woman role (not aggressive and loud like Danni). Rose doesn't bother me as much as she does to some people on this board, but her mic needs to be seriously turned down. I don't know why/how she gets excited about every subject brought up; it sounds as if she's screaming all the time. However, all in all, they all seem normal again, and I wouldn't mind listening to them once or twice a week.

Hot 99.5's ratings were only slightly down last month. They did drop from a tie for 3rd to 5th in the ratings. Kane went from the 3rd highest rated in DC to fourth (Steve Harvey passed him). The interesting thing in the DC ratings was that WHUR (Urban AC) jumped from a 4.8 to a 6.1 (3rd place) share of the market and WMMJ (Urban AC) went from a 3.9 to a 4.7 (6th place). Hot 99.5 dropped from a 5.3 to a 5.1 (5th place). The show hasn't seen a major impact in the ratings since Danni's departure but it will be interesting to see if they can get back in the top 3.

That makes a lot of sense. If you have OCD and you're going through a situation where you might feel you're losing control, I could see it causing a complete breakdown. I gotta say, I would feel bad if it was anyone else, but the way he treats people makes it so hard to root for him. I was wavering between team Kane and team Natasha for a while, but he has painted himself in such a dark light im actively rooting for his demise on TKS. I hate to say that about a father and the main breadwinner but I think he treated Natasha like a babysitter and his coworkers like second class citizens. Maybe he can get a job more behind the scenes so his kids don't have to suffer a big lifestyle change if he loses his job :/

And I totally agree with another poster about Sarah staying FAR FARRR away from Danni. As much as I'd like to listen to Danni spill the dirt on the castpod, I know it would purely be to boost ratings and they would do nothing but fake kiss each others asses the whole time while revealing no new info. I wonder what Samy would say to her though

She might be running late, but they were hyping all morning and yesterday that Iggy Azalea would be live in studio at 705, and that they would play "anyone listening who" with her. 705 passed with no mention of her, and now they went to break saying they would play the game after the break, but no mention of Iggy Azalea. Wonder if she is going to no show?

Also, did anyone else hear around 720 whem Kane did the bit about mother in laws and uncomfortable moments.

He said soemthing like oh the stories I could tell you about a mother in law, and then quickly corrected himself saying that he meant these are stories he heard, and not was a part of.

I think dropping out of the "top 3 in the DMV" is pretty significant. The show SUCKS right now and I've switched to Russ Parr. I don't care to relieve the 90s r&b music constantly, but I like Russ and his team. Anyway, I'm sure Kane watches these ratings very closely and he's got to be affected by dropping to 5th place. I think they might continue to drop in ratings because the show isn't good right now. Kane is creepy and passive aggressive with his not so subtle digs at Natasha. IJ's voice is hard to listen to. And Rose...

Those ratings for the 6+ age bracket, which is usually the only ones that go public.

The thing with the DC area is there are too many stations that have the same format, so the next step is DJ's in terms of whether you like hearing them or not. In the case of morning shows, it is about content and chemistry.

This. So much. If the terms of dismissal were the same as Sarah and samy's, it will be years before they even begin to tell the truth about their time there. Up until recently, they were still keeping up the appearance of things being all good. Remember their where are they now YouTube video? Don't they remember she was part of the problem. Maybe they can forget easily, but I cannot. I've said it before and I'll say it again. No Danni on the castpod.
