We are there because that is the legal standard for when the use of lethal force is justified. When a reasonable person under the circumstances would be in fear for his life.

There is no reasonable person who would fear for their life with respect to a car pulling out to the right.

His family has come out in his defense claiming he is a “committed Christian”, which pretty much confirms he is an unstable nutjob with a criminal mindset.

I think the new video shows that the wife was trying to push all his buttons. She pissed him off enough that he reacted by shooting the victim. I see ZERO evidence that his life was in danger nor evidence that she was "weaponizing her vehicle", in fact it is now clearer that she was leaving the scene.

Just because the wife was mouthing off was NOT a reason to use deadly force.

Her wife was trying to get in the car and had her hand on the handle and the door partially open when the driver starts driving the car. She’s very lucky to not have gotten hurt and dragged under the car tires.

Why did the driver start driving when her wife was trying to get in the car?
