What amendment are you looking for?

Charlie Kirk's death will be long forgotten by the midterms.

Let’s see for starters:

(1) Ending anchor babies. If you enter illegally you can never gain citizenship. Babies born of illegal parents are not automatically US citizens.
(2) Permanently set the number of SOTUS judges. No packing the court.
(3) Air-tight voter ID requirements. Must be a US citizen to vote.
(4) Legalize abortion up to 12-15 weeks with exceptions. Yes I actually agree with the Dems on this one. In fact, I’m betting most aborted babies would have turned into Dems/Libs so let them abort away.
(5) Prohibit gerrymandering. Not sure how to draw the congressional districts fairly and without bias because everyone has a bias especially the lefty bias on DCUM.
(6) Balanced Budget requirement
(7) Prohibit PACs and anything to do with big money influencing politics.
(8) Term limits for Congressman and Senators.
(9) Change the 2nd Amendment to restrict gun ownership. I don’t think this will stop criminals and those with criminal intent from acquiring guns but it’s a start.

I’m sure I can come up with more.

Not what I was expecting. Some good middle-ground and common sense stuff in there.

How stupid are you?

Our elections are basically fraud free. And it’s not illegals that voted illegally it was republicans in Florida and mark meadows and Tommy Tubberbille and glen Youngkin’s twat of a son who should be in jail. The Heritage foundation did a study eve. They said it’s a nothing burger moron!

If it’s a nothing burger then it shouldn’t be a problem implementing strict voter ID requirements to prove you are a citizen of the appropriate age, and of the appropriate geographical area. Many states already have this.

It's a nothingburger until it's not.

My 83-year-old WWII Marine lost his ID in a nursing home. He was too frail to go to the DMV.

Under your rules, he wouldn't be able to vote.

Lots of the poor run into this as well. No IDs, because IDs AREN"T FREE.

And we need to do this why, given there's no credible evidence of mass voter fraud by people who aren't eligible to vote??

And what the hell does this have to do with Charlie Kirk, his toxic rhetoric, and our lack of adequate gun laws?

If ID isn't free then it's illegal to demand ID for voting because it constitutes a poll tax.

Oh pahleeze. It could be done in so many different ways. Almost everyone I know has multiple forms of ID even illegals as well as electronic IDs.

I agree with much of this list, though I don’t see the need for #2, and I don’t think Republicans will go for 5, 7, 8, or 9.

Regarding 4, don’t be so certain that Republicans aren’t also getting abortions. Many who oppose it make exceptions for themselves and their families. Also, babies don’t always automatically adopt the political beliefs of their parents as adults.

Is this part of the master plan to disenfranchise voters by eliminating mail in?

FINALLY.

+1 you have to remember we are talking about people and we have stop the dehumanization. NC is a purple state with a lot of mixed political communities. When we are talking about “war” in these places, that means co workers, neighbors, and people you go to church and school with. People don’t know what they are really asking for and haven’t lived through actual armed conflict. Everyone is going to be miserable.

This is what needs to happen. We need to dial back the toxic rhetoric, we need to stop the intentional misleading of young men, i.e. Andrew Tate style redpilling, we need to stop "owning" people just out of pure spite, we need to stop demonizing vast swaths of America.

That kind of rhetoric gets people shot. That kind of rhetoric foments revolutions. It's horrible that Charlie Kirk got shot, but it's also not a surprise. I do not condone political violence. But I absolutely will state as a fact that if nothing changes in our tone, the political violence not only won't stop, it will escalate. The political firebrands on both sides would be wise to heed this.
