Only real competition slakes plays is Oakton and madison- they lost to Oakton by 6 and beat Madison by 1. I don't think their coach challenged them much this year with the strength of their schedule considering Oakton is their only loss.

I assumed it was a series of tie breaker scenarios i.e. wins/loses against other district teams, common opponents, etc.

I don’t think so, they have a small team and according to film everyone has been playing. More likely they switched something up in practice because the last few games have been bad for them.

Doesn’t help their schedule that Robinson is off their peak but still will advance to States. Even Woodson might advance to States again out of Region C.

Watched the game on NFHS Network and both teams with all the usual players on the field . Madison has the superior individual talent but South Lakes over -achieved and played better as a team.

Most def. Depends which Woodson team shows up. Wildly inconsistent this year
