You’re a taxpayer again? Congratulations on finding another job after being let go from the Board.

I heard this firm is looking to hire at least 1 associate: https://www.vetlawoffice.com/.

Good luck BVA folks!

Binder and Binder is another option for those interested in SSA disability. I believe they pay their attorneys around $60k a year.

I can’t believe Cheryl Mason is VA’s new Inspector General. She was a terrible leader at the Board and morale plummeted during her tenure as Chairman. She isn’t independent by any stretch of the imagination and is a total partisan hack (and Mike Pence’s childhood friend from what I hear). Good luck blowing the whistle at the VA!

That sounds like an excellent resume for a MAGA appointee.

Am I the only one tired of John Berry and all the stupid and irrelevant articles and journals and pointless, inapplicable boilerplate objections? How does this guy in good conscience take veterans' money for this lackluster work?

Lol @ BVA decision writers (most of whom have no litigation experience) criticizing an experienced litigator’s work. Stay in your lane! John Berry doesn’t tell you how to copy and paste boilerplate language into your templates. Don’t tell John Berry how to do his work!

If you did that in a brief, a judge would rip you apart for wasting pages and the court's time.

So many attorneys did it with discovery that boilerplate objections are no longer valid in many jurisdictions. So go, please tell us more.

Think they'll ever open this to VA employees?

Well he certainly is bringing a new standard to his "litigation" ( a questionable one).

You mean you don't find it useful when he has bold headings like "Duty to Assist Error" and "Examinations Inadequate" without citing specific errors or examinations?
