It is theoretically possible for a gay man to believe that marriage is really for reproduction, and that reproduction should occur the normal way. I don't believe that, but it is not illogical.

Lindsey Graham doesn't believe it, either. Because it's not logical, and neither are you. What's logical is that Lindsey Graham is a self loathing hipocrite. Which also makes it logical that he's GOP.

The real issue here is whether Trump was giving Graham a veiled threat to support Kavanaugh.

It wouldn't surprise me. LG was weirdly worked up during that whole episode. Go back and look at clips of him speaking during the hearing and to reporters. He was seriously freaking out.

Couldn't possibly be for the same reason most Americans were "seriously freaking out" - because a group of Democratic Senators were accusing a man of a 35 year old allegation with absolutely NO evidence. In other words, guilty unless proven innocent, which goes against everything our country's judicial system stands for. Yes, we know this wasn't a criminal hearing, but Democrats put Kavanaugh on trial in the court of public opinion. I was disgusted and still am - as are most Americans - by the utter circus that was the Kavanaugh hearings. LG was the face of that outrage.

I'll explain this slowly to you, since you're having great difficulty understanding. That LG could be gay isn't salacious. It's a private matter that you're not entitled to know about, either way. The salacious part has to do with rumors about soliciting sex - RUMORS. Again, no proof whatsoever. You're trying to smear him with salacious rumors. Do you have any actual proof of anything nefarious having to do with LG? NO? Then STFU, to borrow a well-loved phrase used by DCUM's finest.

As for Andrew Gillum, there was plenty of PROOF of his involvement with not only a sex worker, but also illegal drugs. Not sure how you could possibly equate his situation to this one, which is made up *entirely* of rumors. No proof whatsoever.
