Yet none of the other journalists were attacked. They stood a safe distance away and reported the news, as journalists are supposed to, instead of trying to go in, get in peoples' faces and provoke them as Ngo did.

You know that most municipalities and agencies only give one group a permit for a given event at a given time and date, right? There is no way that anyone else could have gotten a permit for a counterprotest. Whatever point about not having a permit pretty much fizzles there. Aside from the whole First Amendment, freedom of speech and freedom of ASSEMBLY thing.
