That was not shown in the video linked above. What was shown are signs that say "F*** Nazis", and those are perfectly fine. Don't you agree? |
I don't think people who advocate - and participate in - violence have any moral authority here at all. Do you? |
|
That's terrible. Perps should be identified and severely punished. Of course, it pales in severity to MURDERS done by the alt-right, but that is something Jake Tapper et al will never fully acknowledge. |

The right loves to bring Antifa up. But their side is still much much worse.
Like when the Proud Boys, white supremacists, and other right wing extremists descended on Charlottesville and violently rammed peaceful protesters with a car, murdering one and putting others in the hospital.
Like when they beat an unarmed black man with metal poles, breaking bones and leaving him with gashes needing stitches. Because he was black. You don't get to talk about "the violent left" when your side is even more violent than they are. |
Of course not. And the video did not show anyone advocating or participating in violence. Just a sign saying "F*** Nazis". Sounds good to me. Doesn't it sound good to you? |
Not at all - I vigorously condemn Trump for advocating violence against journalists and cozying up to a dictator who has killed off numerous ones. You do too I assume. |
Sure. Sounds great. Except that the people holding the sign are no better than Nazis, so that kind of diminishes their message, dontcha think?
|
| PP you seem to be assiduously avoiding the question of Trump’s advocating for violence against journalists. Why is that when you clearly want to defend violence against joint alodtsn |
“journalists” |
“want to condemn violence violence against journalists.” Third time’s a charm! |
Oh, they're a bit better than Nazis. Your comparison diminishes the pain of all Holocaust victims and WWII vets everywhere. It's very insulting. |

Standing down? Sorry, but Andy Ngo (the subject of this thread) posted photos and videos of the police line keeping the protest area contained. Clearly the police isn't "standing down" - if they were standing down, there would be no police line. Andy Ngo's own photos show him crossing the police line and putting himself right in front of Antifa and getting right in their faces instead of staying back in a safe location where the rest of the press were. Andy Ngo is a far right journalist, but he crossed the line of journalism and merely reporting the story by getting in their faces and becoming the story. |
Let's recall just a couple of days ago where Trump met with Putin and "joked" about getting rid of journalists. Putin on the other hand seized control of the news media in Russia, replaced editorial boards with his own loyalists, revoked licenses for independent Russian media outlets, and dozens of journalists critical of Putin met with horrific "accidents" like being shot to death in broad daylight, yet no suspects, poisoned, or dead in the street after a fall from a tall building and having multiple stab wounds, "no foul play, just call it natural causes wink wink" - and Trump thinks that's hilariously funny and that we should be doing that here too? |
|
There were multiple journalists in the video doing as he did. Antifa did not have a permit to assembly and hold a rally. The proud boys did. Antifa was marching in the streets chanting “whose streets? Our streets” police were telling them to get out of the streets and stop blocking trafficking.
That’s standing down. He had every right to record them and document. He was attacked 2 times and told the cops before the final attack. You do know he’s in the hospital with a brain bleed, right? |
