Big College Admissions Year at St. Albans

You keep calling me names, but still offer no proof, huh?

Wouldn't it be convenient if there were videos of many of these lax matches? ..... Oh yeah, there are!

Landon v Prep, April 2012, several shots of the stands with only about 200 people watching. Check out 5:20-5:30 and 12:10-12:20 for nice views.

WCAC Championship, Gonzaga v Dematha, with no great shots of the stands, but it's pretty clear the crowd is on only one side of the field, because the other side is a parking lot. So much for your "home stands vs visitors stands" claim.

Here are several other games. Maybe you can find one showing a crowd of 4000 people. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/recruiting-insider/post/lacrosse-live-streams/2012/03/09/gIQATE4o1R_blog.html

You said these 4000-person matches are "typical" and that hot matchups "easily exceed" 4000 fans. But to win this argument, you don't even need to prove that up. Just find me ONE local high school lax match that had 4000 fans attending, and I'll admit you're right. Acceptable proof would be one of these videos, a photo, or even a student newspaper article.

I'll wait to hear from you.

In the meantime, I'm bored by this exchange, so I won't be responding to more name-calling. Just post some proof, or else admit you were exaggerating.

Why not ask someone who attends the big IAC games how many are in attendance? They'll tell you that you are a fool.

Such anger... did your DC get cut from the LAX team or something? Its so not a big deal and certainly not worth getting yourself so worked up.

I don't know about 4,000, but many IAC games have well over 1,000 fans in attendance. Certainly more attend these games than any HS baseball games in the area.

You can shut up now.

Both teams had opportunities in the third and fourth overtimes, as a crowd of roughly 4,000 held its breath with every windup and then made noise -- some groans, some sighs -- with every miss.

Great! Congratulations on finding one! Thanks for the proof.

LOL. The person who said lacrosse doesn't bring in big crowds got owned.

Yawn. Pat yourselves on the back, one of you proved another wrong for one game if not for the average over many games. But most of us don't care. So can we stop with the pointless gloating and go back to STA exmissions?

25 out of 76 to Ivies/Stanford -- quite a year.

Does the 4,000 figure include parole officers?

Wow -- that is really impressive and I don't have anyone or any ties with STA

Is that all STA people care about. How many kids they can send in a graduating class to an IVY league school. YUCK....

If I was paying 30k/yr for high school, yeah, I care about exmissions and how many students get into Ivy/Stanford.

So genius. What do YOU care about?

Why would you think that's all STA parents care about? Clearly, they are not the ones posting here, and the OP said she's not an STA parent.
