Does anyone else think that Kate Middleton's wedding dress was a little dull?

It actually looked a lot like my wedding dress from 1997 (which I loved at the time). I thought she looked beautiful, but not particularly princess-like. If she loved it, that's really what matters.

I have to say that I loved the wedding pictures with the little kids ... everyone, including B&G, looked so natural and relaxed.

on the treadmill at the gym today E! was playing footage and showing the wedding photos and I kept thinking how gorgeous she is...I can't understand how ppl can tear about such an attractive (and seemingly down-to-earth, modest) girl. whether you are a fan or the dress or not---she is still a very pretty girl. perhaps they like the 'pamela anderson'-types better...our country has a passion for botox, fake boobs, bottle-blondes, blidningly white teeth., etc, etc. I tend toward the natural which is probably why I find her so appealing.

You people are bizarre. Everyone's tastes are different, so why in the world would you expect that everyone would agree about how attractive (or not attractive) someone like Kate Middleton is? I think she's pretty but by no means "gorgeous". And guess what? I'm not jealous and I'm not an inherently unhappy person. Personally, I find my own DH to be far more attractive than William, but I'm sure there are others who would disagree and that's just fine because it's all a matter of opinion anyway and there's no right or wrong answer. Sheesh!

I agree that everyone has different taste, what rubs me the wrong way is when people go on about "She is ugly/plain" instead of saying "in my opinion/I think she's ugly". When you make a whole paragraph explaining how unnattractive someone is as if it were universal truth, it will get somebody ticked off.

Yes. It was the nastiness and cattiness that was disturbing. We all have different standards of beauty. I also am perturbed that beauty seems to be the only standard these ppl think the Prince should have used to pick his wife!

He loves her and thinks she is beautiful and that is all that matters. I remember when JFK JR got married there was vitriol against Carolyn Bessette and the media...saying she was ugly, etc..and then when she gained one pound on an already incredibly thin frame..ppl were calling her fat. These poor souls.

True, but at least I can admit it. I don't think any posters on here were saying William was attractive. In fact, most have said that there is somewhat of an equine quality about his looks. But I digress... Please, ask any man with a pulse whether or not Kate is attractive.
