And both parties have their share of people who should be retired. Pelosi and McConnell are retiring. Schumer has indicated that he wants to run again in 2028.

DP I disagree. I actually don’t think Biden was all that bad, but yes obviously declined. But he was a highly skilled and stable president who at least knew how to let people do their jobs. He was pulling us out of a tanked covid economy and we were doing better than most other countries. Now look at us.
