What moderates aren’t taken by aipac?

I’m not a one-issue voter, unlike you.

It’s not one issue. It’s a litmus test for being bought and sold, pro war, anti American, and an all around liar

If you can't find a single moderate in either party, I think the issue is you, not American politics. You'd have to define what you really mean by "moderate".

Independent here.

What about Beshear? He seems more focused on governing and dealing with actual problems and is astute in not getting entangled in the irrelevant diversions of the culture wars.

Buttigieg did a good job both as mayor and secretary. Level headed.

Talarico and Slotkin are interesting as well.

Beshear and Buttigieg both interesting to me.

Integrity, common sense, opposition to the the extremes of both parties, commitment to American institutions and security key for me.

Want someone who will re-center the center.

Pete Buttigieg is active in various talk forums considering what the future should look like, especially in light of AI and other economic changes. He talks about the need for belonging and the return of trust to break down the tribalism infecting our country.

He’s a disingenuous POS. He’s smart, but not smart enough to hide that. I would never vote for him. - independent

He's certainly the most thoughtful candidate in the mix. But he can't win.

I’m an independent. I want to see a legit change candidate — but one whose idea of change involves a laser focus on what helps ordinary people.

Sadly I agree that Pete would have a hard time getting elected. I think he’s great, I’d be thrilled to have him as president. But at this point I just want a sane moderate-leaning-liberal who will beat whatever POS the Republicans nominate. I imagine Beshear or Mark Kelly could win.

He is a historical toolbag to women, so no. Not a disqualifier for women on the right, but yes for independent women.

DP. AIPAC isn’t one of my top 20 issues.

Well if the economy isn't important for you, then that makes sense. Otherwise most people realize that AIPAC is a contributing reason for endless wars in the Middle East including Iraq.

That’s one take, I suppose.

Pls tell me who you support, so I can be sure to pick someone else.

I think a Bashear/Buttigeig ticket would be great. And successful.

Sure I'll pick someone who's not a pro genocide Israel firster who wants to prioritize our tax money for a foreign nation.

Do you think they have enough teeth to hold the line against extreme / fringe issues? They need to be assertive and fearless, so they don’t get swept in the partisan mire.

I know people will flip but what you describe already exists and has proven themselves capable and moral... AOC.
