This is insanity. Are you really distressed that your son doesn’t hold the door for people anymore (which is weird, by the way, every person in my family both male and female holds the door for others) and this makes you think men are being told that women are in charge now? I have a son who is a great guy and a husband who is a wonderful role model to him. Even still there are moments where I feel like they really just don’t get it. My husband once was describing how it was a shame he doesn’t want to didn’t want to be in certain situations because he was afraid of being accused of inappropriateness and I was like “you realize women don’t want to be in that same situation because they are afraid of being raped and murdered, right?” And no he hadn’t thought of that. He just thought it was sad some one might accuse him of something. That’s the kind of ignorance that leads to men feeling like victims when women are still facing actual abuse and violence at much higher rates.

Women face abuse and violence at higher rates because they have terrible judgement at picking mates. Since you evidently don't need men, guess you can protect yourselves.

The facts are only 1% of all 18-34 year olds are moving abroad…other than Mexico which is about 30% of all the expats…the other top countries are Canada, UK, Australia, France…I.e, modern countries where you are still a loser.

My son is 19 and is having no issues in the dating world. He’s already had 3ish longer term gf’s and each of them were pretty cute. That said, he’s a doer - he’s very social, outdoorsy, personable and has strong emotional intelligence. Having social interests and not wasting time on video games (after about 15), pron and endless scrolling certainly helps.
