Not trolling, I honestly believe that Battlefield will be dominate, especially their goalie. The are loaded with very good players, many of them will be players to look out for this season.

Not trolling, I honestly believe that Battlefield will be dominate, especially their goalie. The are loaded with very good players, many of them will be players to look out for this season.

They have a very solid team but as previous posters have said, they are still young and lost some good senior leadership. Still will be at top of pack, and goalie should be a big difference maker for them. They do have some holes on defense this year with some departures so that is something to keep eye on.

I don't see the state bracket on MaxPreps published for 2026. Based on the patterns over the last several years, I would predict Regions A&B in the first semi and C&D in the second semi. 2025 was A/D and B/C. 2024 was A/C and B/D. 2023 was A/B and C/D.

Those matchups are assuming the #1 seed from each region advance out the first round...which of course doesn't always happen since D2 played B1 in the 2025 semis. Leading to a D1 v D2 final.

What were the finals matchups last 3 years? - just curious, having trouble finding it on VHSL site....
